show and tell artifact-Riley Graham
This is a poster from my room that is a vintage gas poster or something of the sort. I thought it was interesting that not only the female but also the male were both demonic or of satanic nature and represented in a very modern, common fashion, including bright red skin, a long, pointed tail, and sharp horns that characterize demons throughout countless media. Although this poster features modern aspects of Satan, it also holds implications of historic material depicting satan as less of a person but more so a force of evil connected to sexauality that connects to Genesis, similar to the evil that infects Lilith when she refuses to lie under Adam, As well as a sexually deviant demon or devil is often shown at the crossrodes to sell your soul because it represents being seduced by evil and senuality itself as ditry and ungod like.
